We're all sadistic

Do you notice how when people take a whiff of foul odor,
they immediately take another sniff or two --frowning, checking the smell again?


Sniff- Oh WHAT THE, -sniff sniff- GAHH, WTF IS THAT??


Why do we do this?
Is it in disbelief of such horrendous smell?
As if there's no way something could smell like that?
Or is it to make sure we weren't wrong the first time,
and to make sure that there's something worth holding our breath for?
When you get snuffed, you wouldn't ask the attacker to throw nutha punch or two
before you start to retaliate.


I think what it is is that
we all have a touch of sadistic sense of humor.
